Our place is one where pictures don't fully do it justice. It is a beautiful uniquely designed two story space, with a huge staircase & tall ceilings. The owner went with an unobtrusive "boating" theme. You will not be disappointed!

The North Side is an old neighborhood full of Pittsburgh history, and now it's one of the fastest growing areas in the 'Burgh. With the revitalization of the North Shore, the whole area is quickly developing into a lively hub of activity. Friendly old locals, new hipsters, starving artists, young professionals, and more are now calling the diverse North Side home.
The location is excellent, with lots of activities in a short walk - you're less than a mile walk from PNC Park and Heinz Field, with all of the bars & restaurants you could want in between. There are parks, museums, the National Aviary, breweries, and more, all with easy access to downtown.
You can easily walk to most places, including downtown. If you're venturing to other areas of Pittsburgh, Uber / Lyft is super easy and affordable. Parking for one vehicle is on street (guest permit required) or in local garages - the closest is 1 block away at AGH James Street Garage.

We had a great stay in Chads house . The location was excellent, with easy access to a beautiful park and we could walk to PNC Park, theaters, and downtown restaurants. Chad was immediately responsive to any questions we had. The Mexican War Streets is a great up-and-coming neighborhood with fun shops and cafes. One note, if you have any mobility issues, the stairs to the bedrooms and bath are steep. Chad was very helpful and responsive with any concerns we had. The interior of the property was just as shown in the photos. Walkable neighborhood with 2 great coffee spots whether we walked to the left or the right. Everyone we came in contact with in the area were nice and pleasant. Great downtown restaurants were less than 10 minutes away by car. Overall good experience. This place is very close to the Hospital and is within 5-10 minutes walking distance of most the good restaurants on the North Side. It is easy to get to downtown by car and quick access to highways and feeder roads. As usual with all of Chad’s places it is very comfy, well equipped and nicely decorated. Absolutely loved this unit, walkable to PNC, which was perfect since we were in town for Yanks/Pirates games. We visit Pittsburgh quite often will def return to this place. Clean, very responsive host, convenient walk to North Shore bars and restaurants, 15 min walk. Highly recommend.
