Lawrenceville
It's the city's biggest and arguably hippest neighborhood.
Home to many artists and designers, this trendy 'ville hosts some of the city's biggest arts events. It's a neighborhood on the rise with affordable properties, first-rate, one-of-a-kind shops and an awesome dining scene. The neighborhood has undergone such a revival that it's called a "go-to" destination by The New York Times. Located less than three miles from Downtown, it's a neighborhood with deep roots too. In fact, composer Stephen Foster's father charted the street plans in 1814.
Pittsburgh is called the City of Bridges due to our rivers and hills, and because of this, driving here is a learning curve. Since our area is super walkable, with a 90+ walk score, we recommend parking and staying put for your stay, and using Uber / Lyft if you're venturing further out.

We had a very nice stay in the tiny house. It was easy to find and access. It was well decorated and well organized for a small space. The patio space was great. I was initially worried about parking, but we had zero issues parking at any time of day. The location cannot be beat for walkable bars and restaurants; it’s just a block away from so many great places. The home was still nice and quiet though and felt very private. <br/>I did have some difficulties sleeping on the mattress - I don’t sleep well on memory foam-like mattresses. I also wish there was clothes storage. There were some odd things from this being a corporate owned location - it was weird that I couldn’t just ask for early check in here and instead was given a link to a 3rd party site where I had to sign up and then request it there, just for the host the message me back on Airbnb about it. I got a LOT of messages from the host too (including a guilt inducing one at checkout about my rating), it was a little much for me. Hosts were great and the tiny home was cool, great neighborhood J

Fantastic Spot for a Solo Traveler
Positive: This space was exactly what I was looking for in a place to get away and work on a project I am doing. It was quiet, comfortable, and the Moroccan theme was inspiring. There were great cafe's and restaurants within walking distance and a lot more within a short drive.
I didn't have any issues getting in the house or finding parking close by. It was lovely.
Negative: I hadn't realized there was a hotplate for cooking until my last day, which would've saved me some money - but I got to explore a lot, meet some great folks, and eat some delicious food.
