Our neighbor occasionally smokes weed, and you may notice it subtly in the background of the house. We have a $400 Blue Air Smoke Block Filter (which also helps with Pittsburgh air quality!) If you're extremely sensitive to weed, you should consider other options.
Additionally, the stairs in our home are traditional Pittsburgh stairs - steeper than modern stairs. If you have mobility issues, please reconsider.View More

Nice place in a convenient location The space is very nice. The only real problem is that there are 2 flights of very steep, narrow, winding stairs. Two of the bedrooms are on the third floor, and the nearest bathroom is on the second floor—definitely not ideal. The description is clear about the placement of the bedrooms but not on the type of staircase you have to negotiate. The kitchen is well-supplied with basics for cooking and there are enough plates and utensils. There is no dining area other than stools at the kitchen island. The location is great with several dining options close by. Parking was quite challenging on our first night (Friday) but improved after that. I would recommend this place for people under 50 without small children. Very pristine place! 3 levels and extremely comfortable king beds/big bedrooms which is a huge bonus for me! Easily walk to restaurants and shopping. Convenient gas station kitty corner. It’s 3 levels, the stairs are hairy- like climbing a ladder. Dining room is on second floor not off the kitchen. But the kitchen has 4 comfortable bar stools. One full bath to share and a nice 1/2 bath by the kitchen. Patio is great. Felt fairly safe there. However there is a lot of late & loud bar noise due to its location right on a Main through Street (Butler). Hosts were very responsive when we asked for some fans (hot upstairs) minimal duties upon leaving. Worth the value and appreciated the hosts communications. It was a last minute find and i liked it. Host was responsive and flexible with check out time. No complaints !
