The North Side is an old neighborhood full of Pittsburgh history, and now it's one of the fastest growing areas in the 'Burgh. With the revitalization of the North Shore, the whole area is quickly developing into a lively hub of activity. Friendly old locals, new hipsters, starving artists, young professionals, and more are now calling the diverse North Side home. The location is excellent, with lots of activities in a short walk - you're less than a mile walk from PNC Park and Heinz Field, with all of the bars & restaurants you could want in between. There are parks, museums, the National Aviary, breweries, and more, all with easy access to downtown.
You can easily walk to most places, including downtown. If you're venturing to other areas of Pittsburgh, Uber / Lyft is super easy and affordable. Parking for one vehicle is on street (guest permit required) or in local garages - the closest is 3 blocks away at AGH James Street Garage.
The washing machine for our property is in the basement, not in the apartment. It's shared with our cleaning team.View More

We had fantastic time at this location, Chad was a great host and extremely responsive to any questions or concerns we had. It’s was a great place to stay if you’re walking around to some of the Pittsburgh North Shore attractions. I also have to say the bed mattress/ topper was fantastic, some of the best sleep Ive gotten, better than my bed at home. Great stay, great host. I would stay there again. I spent 5 days in Pitt with my 2 yr old-maybe my experience at this airbnb was just a shock to the system because the place we stayed in Carnegie prior was 3x cheeper and THAT good- clean, cozy, snacks/complimentary wine/beer provided, bath salts & luxurious soaps and towels- all the stuff you could ever want in an airbnb- NOT THIS PLACE. Be warned that this spot is a good reminder that spending more doesn’t always mean it’s going to be “bougie-er”- frankly, its a major rip off and disappointment and I do not recommend it for anyone over 25, let people with children. It’s filthy, for1; baseboards haven’t been cleaned in years, even if the grout around tub wasn’t nasty, theres no plug to use it proper anyway, ants infest this place- traps everywhere- My child covered herself in ant poison within 2 secs of arrival- left out for us to deal without warning- and no empathy from host about it, only defensive-ness. The list of bad is so long I cant even fit it all. I couldn’t wait to leave. This is the perfect place with a ton of charm in Pittsburgh’s Northside community. I had a relative who was at Allegheny General Hospital, and the place could not have been more convenient. If you do not need access to the hospital, it is an easy walk (1-1.5 miles) across the bridge or cheap rideshare to downtown/surrounding areas. The house was as described in every way and I would be happy to stay again. Chad and his team were great and very responsive.
