PROPERTY LAYOUT:
Our property is located on a quiet side street in the Mexican War Streets area of Pittsburgh. Upon entering our two-story home through the private front door, you'll step into the dining area, which features the dining table + desk. Through the dining area you'll find the spacious kitchen, along with the laundry area + full bathroom. Going upstairs, you'll enter the living room at the top of the stairs. From here, straight ahead is the large bedroom with a king bed. There is a loft area up the ladder that is unused & for storage only. Note that the entire property has an open, spacious feeling, with the only door being on the bathroom.
The entire property is accessible to our guests. Note that the back door / courtyard area is deadbolted, and is only accessible as an emergency exit.

Pittsburgh's Mexican War Streets are a historic home buff's dream! Originally called Buena Vista, the streets in the area were named after various Mexican War people & places, and most of the homes in the area are from the 1800s!
Mattress Factory Museum, Randyland, great coffee shops, restaurants, and a handful of bars call the War Streets home. Plus, you're an easy walk to North Shore attractions like PNC Park, Acrisure Stadium (let's be real, it'll always be Heinz Field), and all of the bars & restaurants of the North Shore. A super safe & family friendly area, it feels more like a NYC or Boston neighborhood than Pittsburgh - it's one of the most desirable areas of Pittsburgh to live.
We recommend using Uber or Lyft to navigate in Pittsburgh. It's a notoriously difficult city to drive in (but we have little traffic!) They're affordable and abundant. If you do choose to drive in the city, we offer free street parking with our included digital parking permit.

We loved our stay! The Mexican War street homes are beautiful and we found free parking around the block easily. We also felt very safe walking around. We hope to stay again in the future during our next visit to Pittsburgh! Loved staying in this Airbnb. Came to Pittsburgh for a Steelers game with my husband and it was the perfect walking distance. The Airbnb was just like the photos and very clean. Really appreciate all the options for coffee, was delicious. The bed was so comfy too! It was a great stay and we’d definitely book again for our next trip up 🖤💛 This place was great! Very walkable and close to restaurants/bars/activities in the city. The place was clean, lots of great amenities! Bobby
