PROPERTY LAYOUT:
Our property is located on a quiet side street in the Mexican War Streets area of Pittsburgh. Upon entering our two-story home through the private front door, you'll step into the dining area, which features the dining table + desk. Through the dining area you'll find the spacious kitchen, along with the laundry area + full bathroom. Going upstairs, you'll enter the living room at the top of the stairs. From here, straight ahead is the large bedroom with a king bed. There is a loft area up the ladder that is unused & for storage only. Note that the entire property has an open, spacious feeling, with the only door being on the bathroom.
The entire property is accessible to our guests. Note that the back door / courtyard area is deadbolted, and is only accessible as an emergency exit.

Pittsburgh's Mexican War Streets are a historic home buff's dream! Originally called Buena Vista, the streets in the area were named after various Mexican War people & places, and most of the homes in the area are from the 1800s!
Mattress Factory Museum, Randyland, great coffee shops, restaurants, and a handful of bars call the War Streets home. Plus, you're an easy walk to North Shore attractions like PNC Park, Acrisure Stadium (let's be real, it'll always be Heinz Field), and all of the bars & restaurants of the North Shore. A super safe & family friendly area, it feels more like a NYC or Boston neighborhood than Pittsburgh - it's one of the most desirable areas of Pittsburgh to live.
We recommend using Uber or Lyft to navigate in Pittsburgh. It's a notoriously difficult city to drive in (but we have little traffic!) They're affordable and abundant. If you do choose to drive in the city, we offer free street parking with our included digital parking permit.

This property was incredibly comfortable and exactly as described. Quiet street with coffee shops nearby. Bed was crazy comfortable, kitchen well outfitted. No downsides besides parking being at a minimum but that was addressed in the description clearly. Hosts were very communicative and helpful. 100% would rent again. Gorgeous neighborhood, and awesome decor,the shower was my favorite part! It was super cozy and clean. I will be back for sure next trip. Highly recommend this spot and Chad and team were awesome. They were super responsive, proactive, and clear with info which was great. The apartment was so cute, clean, and cozy! The neighborhood was absolutely adorable and very walkable to a bunch of restaurants, shops, parks, and museums. I would absolutely book this place again. We had a fantastic stay at this charming home in Pittsburgh! My fiancé and I were in town for a long weekend to attend events at both the baseball and football stadiums, and the location couldn’t have been more perfect—everything was incredibly walkable, and we hardly needed our car the entire trip.
The house itself was cozy and just right for two people. It had so much character and a comfortable feel that made us feel right at home. The hosts were excellent—professional, friendly, and super responsive. They even accommodated an early check-in for a small fee, which we really appreciated.
Having a parking permit provided was a huge plus, even though we rarely needed to drive. We’d absolutely stay here again next time we’re in town!
