The North Side is an old neighborhood full of Pittsburgh history, and now it's one of the fastest growing areas in the 'Burgh. With the revitalization of the North Shore, the whole area is quickly developing into a lively urban hub of activity. Friendly old locals, new hipsters, starving artists, young professionals, and more are now calling the diverse North Side home. The location is excellent, with lots of activities in a short walk - you're less than a mile walk from PNC Park and Heinz Field, with all of the bars & restaurants you could want in between. There are parks, museums, the National Aviary, breweries, and more, all with easy access to downtown.
You can easily walk to most places, including downtown. If you're venturing to other areas of Pittsburgh, Uber / Lyft is super easy and affordable. Parking for one vehicle is on street (guest permit provided).
The North Side is a very diverse area. While it's safe, we have some unhoused in the area as well as drug users. They are not confrontational and don't bother anyone. However, people not used to / uncomfortable with this type of environment should consider other areas.View More

This air bnb was beautiful and had everything I needed as a travel health care worker.Show more Great property, very responsive and professional hosts. The location, while near some questionable pockets of the city (like any downtown area), is excellent and comfortably walkable for sporting events, the Andy Warhol Museum, and some great food and drinks (check out Monk’s Bar right down the street). The space was very clean and had all amenities that we could have needed. We had no issues with noise and found the condo to be quite peaceful and quiet. I had a fantastic stay at Julie's Airbnb! The decor was stylish and the apartment was incredibly clean, exceeding all my expectations. Julie was a responsive and thoughtful host, making the entire experience seamless.
The location was perfect for my friend and I, as we were attending a concert at Stage AE. We had no trouble getting an Uber to and from the venue, and the fares were very reasonable.
Inside the apartment, everything was pristine and modern. I really appreciated the detailed binder Julie provided, which included helpful information about the apartment and local recommendations including a % off at the cute coffee shop next door. One small note: I didn't find a body mirror in the unit, but thankfully I had my outfit picked out beforehand.
Check-in and check-out were super easy, making our stay even more enjoyable. I got a great nights rest too. I highly recommend this place and would absolutely love to stay here or another one of Julie’s properties!Show more
